A Couple of Other American Registered Light Aircraft - This Time at Longreach Airport

After posting about the American registered Hawker Beechcraft Bonanza N8074N passing through Rockhampton Airport over the weekend, a little bit of research as yielded some information on a couple of other American registered light aircraft that have passed through Central Queensland.

Mooney M20J N201CM has an American registration but is owned and operated in Wedderburn in New South Wales, and was noted flying into Longreach Airport on Saturday 30 June.

After flying through Gladstone and Proserpine / Whitsunday Coast Airports in mid-June, and later the Whitsunday Coast at Shute Harbour, Piper PA-46-310P Malibu, N9099Z was also noted flying into Longreach Airport but on Monday 25 June.  After overnighting, it departed to the Gold Coast.  The Malibu is a resident of New Zealand, and it seems that it has completed a small 'tour' of Australia and could possibly be heading home.

When N9099Z was spotted at Gladstone, New Zealand registered Cessna 182RG ZK-ETX seemed to flying with the Malibu, also flying onto Proserpine and later the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour.

ZK-ETX then departed for the Northern Territory, West Australia, and South Australia, and has returned to Queensland flying into Cunnamulla on Tuesday 10 July.
