A Couple From a Quiet Weekend at Central Queensland Airports

Don W reports from Rockhampton that ex-Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Beech B200 King Air VH-FDO departed Australia for parts unknown on Friday 7 September.  We cannot even confirm what registration marking (if any) were applied before it left.

Meanwhile, on Saturday 8 September, Tom Browne Aviation (of Dubbo in New SouthWales) Pilatus PC-12/47 VH-ZBD popped into Rockhampton Airport early.  It departed soon after.

Don noted that VH-ZBD made a couple of other fleeting visits to Rockhampton over the weekend.

Down the road at Gladstone Airport, Shane T was lucky enough to take another flight with a local operator aboard Piper PA-28R-180 Arrow VH-PBA.

You will be able to read his trip report from a fantastic day's flying later this month!

While he was at the Airport on Saturday 8 September, Bayswater Road - an aerial survey and photography company - Cessna 404 VH-LAM arrived and looked to be parking for the night.

The titan still wears basic 'Airlines of Tasmania' colours.

Thanks guys!
