Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Landing Gear Incident at Emerald Airport Tuesday Night
On Tuesday 25 September, Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Raytheon B200 VH-FDW was
operating a flight from Rockhampton to Emerald when it encountered a problem with its landing gear. An indicator light reportedly failed to illuminate.
The pilot elected to return to Rockhampton where the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service was notified. The aircraft land without incident, and VH-FDW returned to the air the next day.
