More From Gladstone Airport as Citation VH-ING and Virgin E-190 VH-ZPN Touch Down on Friday

The great plane spotting action at Gladstone Airport this week continues with Cessna 650 Citation VII bizjet VH-ING photographed by Jamie C while it visited Gladstone Airport on Thursday 13 December.

VH-ING arrived from and later departed back to Melbourne (Essendon) Airport.

Also spotted on Thursday 13 December was locally based Aerospatiale AS.355F1 squirrel helicopter VH-ZWB which was photographed arriving back into Gladstone Airport from a local flight.

Then, late morning on Friday 14 December, another helicopter was spotted by Jamie C in the form of Gunn Resources McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company (MDHC) 500N (Notar) VH-INY.

It is pictured arriving into Gladstone Airport.

One of the highlights at Gladstone Airport on Friday 14 December however, was the arrival of a nice pair of King Air aircraft presumably on Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) duties from Brisbane.

Brescon's Beech B200 VH-WXN was first to arrive.

VH-WXN was closely followed by Austrek Aviation Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-JEA.

Both aircraft departed later in the day - as shown below - along with the Queensland Police Service (AirWing) Raytheon B1900D VH-PSK which is shown departing for Mackay.

The other highlight at Gladstone Airport on Friday 14 December was the arrival and departure of Virgin Australia Embraer E-190 VH-ZPN which Jamie caught touching down from Brisbane as VOZ1713.

VH-ZPN later departed back to Brisbane as VOZ1716.  VH-ZPN still wears Pacific Blue titles and colours!

One of Virgin Australia's  (Skywest Airlines-operated) ATR 72-500 aircraft was also noted - VH-FVL - which Jamie captured undergoing its pre-flight inspection before departing for Brisbane.

QantasLink Dash-8-Q400 VH-QOK was spotted departing.

Finally, Avman Cessna 411 VH-OLH is shown departing Gladstone for parts unknown.

And, Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Hawker Beechcraft B200 King Air VH-FDA was also spotted by Jamie as it departed Gladstone for Hervey Bay.

What a great week of action at Gladstone Airport - sincere thanks to Jamie C for being on the spot and capturing some absolutely fantastic images!!
