With thanks to local plane spotter 'IAD' comes some great photos of Alliance Airlines Fokker F-100 VH-XWO as it departed Rockhampton Airport for Brisbane on Wednesday 12 June while operating a scheduled service on behalf of QantasLink.
As mentioned in a Blog post below, VH-XWO is not a regular visitor to Central Queensland, having been based between Cairns and Townsville for some time.
VH-XWO also arrived into Rockhampton later in the evening, and looked to be overnighting. In fact, as I write this post early on Thursday 13 June, VH-XWO is operating out of Rockhampton for Brisbane as QLK2349, which is usually operated by QantasLink using a smaller Dash-8-Q400 aircraft.
