Even though Gladstone plane spotter Jamie C is 'on holidays' he has still managed to send through some great photos of a fantastic 1963-build Bell UH-1B Huey helicopter N1386L at Gladstone Airport on Thursday 1 August.
After hearing the unmistakable 'thud' of the massive chopper, Jamie captured a couple of photos as the Huey approached Gladstone Airport for fuel. Its exact movements are unknown at this stage.
Some research reveals that N1386L has operated in Australia in the past in a aerial fire fighting roll as "Helitac 723".
