Local plane spotter 'IAD' was at Rockhampton Airport on Monday 17 March to capture Virgin Australia Boeing B737-800 VH-VUL as it called into the beef capital on a scheduled service. And it continues to wear a white nose cone, along with the old red Virgin Blue colour scheme.
After touching down from Brisbane as VOZ1245, VH-VUL later returned back to the capital but as VOZ1248.
While VH-VUL was on the ground at Rockhampton, 'IAD' also captured some photos of QantasLink (Cobham Aviation) Boeing B717-200 VH-NXI which was also visited the beef capital on Monday afternoon from Brisbane.
And finally on the lighter side, parked at the General Aviation (GA) area this attractive Amateur-built Van's RV-9A which is operated by Charters Towers Veterinary Livestock Services. Information suggests that (at the time of writing) VH-VSG was due to head further South to Archerfield on Tuesday 18 March.
Thanks to 'IAD' for sending through these great photos!
