First Photo and First Flight for Advance Aviation Cessna 208 VH-FLL - ex N908KA

Late on Sunday 11 May I captured a pretty rough photo of Advance Aviation's new Cessna 208 Caravan VH-FLL after it has finally emerged from their hangar.

VH-FLL arrived into Emerald via Townsville in mid-February as N908KA, and the aircraft has believed to have been hangared receiving pre-service maintenance.  Of note, the aircraft features the Blackhawk upgraded Pratt and Whitney PT6A-42A engine.

I also have been told that VH-FLL has been flying around Emerald in recent days on familiarisation flights around the local area.  On Monday 12 May, VH-FLL was scheduled to fly from Emerald to Blackall and return.

Advance Aviation who have reportedly acquired the Caravan for a new Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter contract.
