Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) B737 Wedgetail A30-004 Two Missed Approaches at Rockhampton Airport Wednesday

Local plane spotter 'IAD' was at the right place at the right time on Wednesday 3 September and has captured some spectacular photos as Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft - A30-004 - performed not one but two missed approaches at Rockhampton Airport.

After its second missed approach, A30-004 returned to the South using the radio callsign of "Wedgetail 03".
