The Super Puma is no stranger to these airports, visiting in early September while ferrying North from Redcliffe to Papua New Guinea (PNG).
Another great visitor in the form of Tashi Corp Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global Express XRS bizjet N365CJ, which arrived back into Gladstone on Friday, departed for Sydney in the early evening on Saturday 22 November.
While he was at Gladstone Airport, local plane spotter Micahel F also captured QantasLink (Cobham Aviation) Boeing B717-200 arriving from Brisbane as QJE1714.
And on the General Aviation (GA) apron, Reid Heliwork Robinson R-44 VH-HZQ was sitting quietly, along with Cessna 182 VH-IVY and Thangool-based Cessna 172 VH-SXG.
Nearby, Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Raytheon B200 King Air VH-FDR had popped into Gladstone from Brisbane. Information suggests it departed back there a little while later. It was noted to be using its radio callsign of "FlyDoc 414".
Sincere thanks to local plane spotter Michael F who ventured to Gladstone Airport and captured these awesome photos!
