For the third time in four days, Virgin Australia has sent an Embraer E-190 jet into Gladstone Airport operating a scheduled service from and back to Brisbane.
On this occasion, on Saturday 7 February, VH-ZPF was captured by local plane spotter Michael F as it departed operating the VOZ1712 service back to Brisbane. It had earlier arrived as VOZ1709.
Fellow E-190s VH-ZPL and VH-ZPC had called into Gladstone Airport earlier in the week.
Also captured by Michael departing Gladstone Airport on Saturday 7 February was Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Raytheon B200 King Air VH-FDR. It departed to Brisbane.
As did (unconfirmed) was the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) Cessna 208 VH-PSQ, which has been spending a fair amount of time at Gladstone Airport in recent weeks.
It was heard to depart via Agnes Water.
Meanwhile, a couple of other interesting light General Aviation (GA) aircraft were noted calling into Gladstone Airport on Friday 6 February with Brisbane-based Cessna 340 VH-LKM noted calling in from Archerfield, while Sunshine Coast Air Charter Beech E55 VH-WZO called in from the Sunshine Coast.
