Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Bell 429 'Global Ranger' Helicopter N49-047 Calls into Rockhampton Airport Thursday

Soon after the Chinese Gulfstream departed Rockhampton Airport on Thursday 20 August, Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Bell 429 'Global Ranger' helicopter N49-047 touched down at Rocky from the South.

Local plane spotter Kayanne H, who captured these photos, reports that after taking on fuel, N49-047 departed towards to North as "Medusa 47".

UPDATE!  As I was writing this post, David G of Maryborough Aviation Services sent through the following photo of N49-047 arriving at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport earlier on Thursday 20 August.
