At the time of writing, VH-MIF is due to depart back to Bankstown around 10am on Saturday 31 October.
Meanwhile, a special arrival is expected into Longreach Airport around 10.30am on Saturday 31 October with Qantas B737-800 VH-XZP - which is painted in a special 'retro' colour scheme featuring the iconic ochre colour scheme first introduced by Qantas in 1967 - due to touch down on a special charity 'joyflight' from Sydney.

The flight - which was actually fully booked shortly after it was announced - will raise money for the Western Queensland Drought Appeal.
Passengers will be welcomed to Longreach - the historic and spiritual cornerstone of Qantas - and be treated to a private tour and lunch at the Qantas Founders Museum.
The B737-800 VH-XZP nicknamed 'Retro Roo' will then depart Longreach around 2.15pm before landing at Rockhampton Airport around 3.20pm where it will take on fuel before departing onward to Sydney around 3.50pm.
