It departed back to the Gold Coast during the middle of the afternoon.
Meanwhile, a few interesting light General Aviation (GA) visitors were noted calling in and out of Hervey Bay this week with most seemingly being flight training light aircraft that were visiting from various ports in the South-East corner of Queensland.
Late on Tuesday 10 November, Airways Aviation Education Cessna 172 VH-LGA visited from Caloundra.
On Wednesday 11 November, Aero Dynamic Flight Academy Piper PA-28R-180 Cherokee Arrow VH-JPW visited from the Sunshine Coast, as did Flight Options Australia (Aeromil Pacific) Cessna 172 VH-KTR.
Australian Wings (Flying) Academy (Gold Coast) Diamond Aircraft Industries DA40-D aircraft VH-YHM and VH-YHP were also noted visiting Hervey Bay from their Gold Coast base on Wednesday 11 November and Thursday 12 November respectively.
Finally, on Thursday 12 November, Seair Pacific (Istlecote) Cessna 208 Caravan VH-VCW and Pilatus Britten-Norman BN2A-8 Islander VH-MBF were both noted calling into Hervey Bay with VH-VCW operating a Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flight to Wanella Station (near Coppabella) from Hervey Bay and back via Maryborough.

Meanwhile, VH-MBF touched down from the Gold Coast and presumably flew onward to Lady Elliot Island before returning to the Gold Coast via Redcliffe later in the day.
