Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon Hawker 850XP Bizjet VH-SGY at Mackay Airport

As we reported on our Facebook page, the Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon Hawker 850XP bizjet VH-SGY was noted arriving into Mackay Airport late on Tuesday 9 February from Brisbane.

As I write this post, it appears that after spending the night, VH-SGY will depart Mackay early in the afternoon of Wednesday 10 February back to Brisbane.

Meanwhile, another Queensland Government aircraft - Queensland Police Service (Airwing) (State of Queensland) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra bizjet VH-PSU - is expected to call into Mackay Airport also on Wednesday 10 February during what appears to be another busy day of flying up and down the Queensland coast on prisoner transfer flights.
