Toll Freight Metro 23 VH-HPE Completes Special Overnight Charter from Weipa to Gladstone Airport

An interesting freight charter flight was completed over the weekend by Toll Freight Metro 23 VH-HPE which flew into Gladstone Airport in the wee small hours of Sunday 2 July from Weipa in Far North Queensland.

Late on Saturday 1 July, VH-HPE had flown from Brisbane to Cairns and then Weipa before flying South to Gladstone.

After crew rest, VH-HPE then departed Gladstone Airport on return to Brisbane later on Sunday 2 July.
