After a little while on the ground, it departed to the Gold Coast before later returning to Essendon.
UPDATE! Another familiar bizjet called into Longreach Airport on Friday 22 September in the form of Gulf Coast Aviation Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-KXM. It arrived from Bankstown and later departed to Vanrook Station near Normanton. It had flown directly from Vanrook Station to Bankstown earlier in the week.
Also on Wednesday 20 September, New Zealand-based Piper PA-24-250 Comanche ZK-BAZ was noted arriving into Longreach Airport from Archerfield.
While New South Wales-based Cessna 414A VH-ZDF has had a very busy week and was noted arriving into Longreach Airport from Emerald before it later departed to Mount Isa also on Wednesday 20 September.
UPDATE! It's worth noting that on Friday 22 September, VH-ZDF also visited (within CQ) Mackay and Bundaberg Airports while enroute back to New South Wales.
Visiting Longreach Airport earlier in the week on Monday 18 September was Australasian Jet Piper PA-31-325 VH-ZMJ which completed a return trip to Longreach and back from Archerfield and Roma.
UPDATE! On Friday 22 September, visited Longreach Airport again flying in from Archerfield before departing back there via Roma Airport.
While also on Monday 18 September, Beech B200 King Air VH-ODI of Dick Lang's Dessert-Air Safaris' made yet another visit to Longreach Airport touching down from Normanton. After spending the night, VH-ODI departed to Port Augusta and then Adelaide on Tuesday 19 September.
