RACQ LifeFlight Aero Medical Bizjets Pop into Central Queensland Airports

Over the last couple of days, a pair of RACQ LifeFlight aero medical bizjets have been noted calling into various CQ Airports on different medical evacuation flights.

Late on Tuesday 5 September, LifeFlight's LearJet 45 bizjet VH-CXJ "Ambulance 452" was noted visiting Mackay Airport on a med-evac flight from and back to Townsville.

Also very late on Tuesday 5 September, LifeFlight's Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign bizjet VH-VPL "Ambulance 680" was noted calling into Rockhampton Airport, arriving from the Gold Coast.

In the wee small hours of Wednesday 6 September, VH-VPL then departed Rocky for Brisbane.

Then late on Thursday 7 September, VH-CXJ was back in CQ arriving into Rockhampton Airport from Townsville.  It then departed to Moranbah Airport before departing there to Brisbane, touching down very early on Friday 8 September.  It then returned to Townsville.

Of interest, fellow LifeFlight LearJet 45 VH-VVI "Ambulance 451" is presently at Sydney (possibly) undertaking planned maintenance.
