Regional Express (REX) SAAB 340B VH-ZLC Operates Charter Flight to Longreach and Birdsville Airports

On Wednesday 11 July, Regional Express (REX) SAAB 340B VH-ZLC was noted arriving into Longreach Airport from Townsville on what appeared to be a closed charter flight as RXA9479.  It soon after continued to Birdsville Airport again as RXA9479.

VH-ZLC was due to return to Longreach Airport from Birdsville but flew back direct to Townsville as RXA9478.

The 'Birdsville Big Red Bash' has been held this week where some of the biggest names in Australian music were set to perform in the desert at the iconic Big Red sand hill Birdsville.
