Queensland Government (QGAir) Rescue Bell 412 Helicopter VH-ESD Calls into Moranbah and Mackay Airports

Noted completing a medical evacuation flight from Moranbah Airport to Mackay Base Hospital late on Wednesday 21 November was the Townsville-based Queensland Government (QGAir) Rescue Bell 412 helicopter VH-ESD "Rescue 521".

It then made the short hop across to Mackay Airport before it then looked to depart on another mission to Prosperpine Hospital but soon after returned to Mackay.

After then spending two nights parked at Mackay Airport, VH-ESD returned to Townsville on Friday 23 November.

It appears that the Mackay Airport-based RACQ-CQ Rescue Helicopter Service (CQ Rescue) helicopter "Rescue 412" was out possibly of service during this time.
