The Global 6000 appears to be Asian based and arrived into the Gold Coast the previous day from Palau (Koror).

At the time of writing, it appears that VP-CEJ remains parked at Hamilton Island Airport.

UPDATE!  VP-CEJ departed Hamilton Island Airport for Sydney on Monday 24 December.

Meanwhile, on Saturday 22 December, Kefford Corporation (of Victoria) Gulfstream IV-SP N7DK was noted returning to Hamilton Island from Sydney.  It had visited Hamo and departed to Sydney on Monday 17 December.

After around an hour on the ground, N7DK departed Hamilton Island Airport for its Melbourne (Essendon) base.

As mentioned below, the sleek Gulfstream, which is a familiar visitor to Central Queensland, has recently been re-registered from N810LP.

Finally, down the road at Mackay Airport, after it departed just over a week ago, locally-based Embraer EMB-550 Legacy 500 N142GZ was noted returning from Brisbane also on Saturday 22 December.  It then competed a flight down to and back from Rockhampton Airport.
