Three United States Army (US Army) Beech C-12V Huron (B200 King Air) Aircraft Pop into Rockhampton Airport

An exciting start to the plane spotting day on Thursday 4 July with three United States Army (US Army) (US Army Reserve Command) Beech C-12V Huron (Beech B200 King Air) aircraft popping into Rockhampton Airport as the build up to the 'official' start of joint Military Exercise Talisman Sabre 2019 (TS19) draws closer.  The three King Airs all flew down from Townsville.

The first two to arrive were identified as 95-00088 as "Pat 088", closely followed by 94-00320 as "Pat 320".  After a short time on the ground, they both departed Rockhampton Airport for Brisbane before later returning to Townsville.

The third was identified as 95-00094 as "Pat 094" and also flew down from Townsville but returned there directly after a short time at Rocky.

All three C-12V Huron aircraft are flown by the US Army's 2nd Battalion 228th Aviation Regiment 'Winged Warriors' out of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, located in Burlington County, New Jersey, USA.

The Beech C-12 Huron is the military designation for a series of twin-engine turboprop aircraft based on the Beech B200 Super King Air and Beech 1900C.
