Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 VH-NKQ Arrives into Hamilton Island Airport on Closed Charter Flight

Amongst all the bizjets to call into the Whitsundays of late, an interesting (what appears to be) closed charter flight was noted arriving into Hamilton Island Airport on Tuesday 31 December with Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 VH-NKQ touching down from Ayers Rock as UTY8812.

VH-NKQ had flown from Cairns to Brisbane and then Ayers Rock as UTY8811 on Sunday 29 December.

At the time of writing, it appears that VH-NKQ is staying on Hamo for the night.  Certainly a nice place to celebrate the arrival of the new year and decade!

UPDATE!  VH-NKQ departed Hamilton Island Airport for the Gold Coast and Brisbane as UTY8813/4 on Friday 3 January.
