A nice surprise arrival returning to Bundaberg Airport on Wednesday 8 January was newly registered Greensill Capital (Isle Of Man) Ltd Gulfstream Aerospace G-VI (G650ER) bizjet M-SOZO. It was photographed (below) during the afternoon after it earlier looked to arrive direct from Melbourne (Essendon).
M-SOZO had visited Bundy back in December - see Blog post HERE.
At the time of writing, it appears that the Gulfstream is staying at Bundaberg Airport for at least the night.
Of interest, the operators of M-SOZO - Greensill Capital (Isle Of Man) Ltd - had previously bought Dassault Falcon 7X bizjet M-GGBL into Bundaberg Airport on previous occasions.
Meanwhile the locally-based Cessna 550 Citation Bravo bizjet VH-CCJ, which is also registered to the same company, departed Bundaberg Airport for Brisbane and then later Sydney also on Wednesday 8 January.
Finally, also on Wednesday 8 January, the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) Raytheon B1900D VH-PSK called into Bundaberg Airport while flying from Cairns to Brisbane. It then returned to Cairns via Mackay Airport and Townsville.
