On Friday 16 October, locally-based Embraer EMB-550 Legacy 500 bizjet N142GZ was noted back in the air, departing Mackay Airport for Port Lincoln in South Australia.
UPDATE! After continuing to Kingscote and then Adelaide, N142GZ returned to Mackay Airport from the South Australian capital on Tuesday 27 October.

Meanwhile, also on Friday 16 October, some Flight Training Adelaide (FTA) / Qantas Group Pilot Academy Diamond DA-40 Star training aircraft were noted visiting parts of Central Queensland. DA-40s VH-ERE, VH-DIV, VH-YTG and VH-EQF all landed at Bundaberg Airport from their Toowoomba-Wellcamp base before they then departed to Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport and back to Wellcamp.
DA-40 VH-PQG also flew up from Wellcamp to Bundaberg Airport before continuing to Gladstone Airport and then back to Wellcamp. While DA-40 VH-YNH flew direct to Bundaberg Airport and back to Wellcamp.
Townsville Airlines Beech 1900D VH-RUE was back in the region, visiting both Maryborough and Rockhampton Airports while on a busy day flying between Cairns, Townsville and Brisbane.
Finally, also on Friday 16 October, Landsur (Landair Surveys) of Victoria Vulcanair (Partenavia) P.68C VH-OAV flew up from the Gold Coast to survey work west of Rockhampton before landing at Rockhampton Airport.
UPDATE! On Saturday 17 October, VH-OAV departed Rockhampton Airport for Archerfield at Tyabb in Victoria.
