Friday 21 May, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-203 / KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) A39-001 was spotted completing a missed approach at Rockhampton Airport.
It initially looked to fly up from RAAF Base Amberley to Townsville where it completed another missed approach before then flying South to Rocky.
A39-001 then returned to Amberley.
A39-001 was heard to be flying as "Dragon 66".
Sincere thanks to local plane spotter Scott H for taking the time to capture and send through these great photos!
