At the time of writing, VH-SSZ appears to be staying on Hamo.
UPDATE! On Tuesday 6 July, VH-SSZ departed Hamilton Island Airport and returned to the Gold Coast and then Avalon.
While also arriving into Hamilton Island Airport, also on Friday 2 July, was Australian Corporate Jet Centres' operated Embraer EMB-135BJ Legacy bizjet VH-VLT. It looked to arrive from its Melbourne (Essendon) base and also appears to be staying.
UPDATE! On Sunday 4 July, VH-VLT departed Hamilton Island Airport and returned to Essendon.
And also on Friday 2 July, the sleek new American registered Gulfstream G-VII (G600) bizjet N920BM was noted departing Hamilton Island Airport for Cairns.
It had arrived from Cairns last Saturday 26 June.
Meanwhile, also on Friday 2 July, Raytheon A36 Bonanza VH-YGM departed Rockhampton Airport for Armidale. It then returned to Rocky later in the day. VH-YGM did the same on Wednesday 30 June.
And the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) (State of Queensland) Raytheon B1900D VH-PSK called into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns and Townsville before later departing to Brisbane. It then flew back to Townsville and Cairns during the afternoon.
Finally, as mentioned on out Facebook page, late on Thursday 1 July, the 'new' Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service (CHRS) (Babcock Mission Critical Services Australasia) Agusta S.P.A. AW139 Helicopter VH-YXR arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Redcliffe.
On Friday 2 July, VH-YXR looked to commence training and familiarisation flights out of and back to Rockhampton Airport. We hope to bring you a photo real soon!
