It was reported that the ship could be sailing in the vicinity of Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays.

United States Marine Corps (USMC) Lockheed KC-130J Hercules 168075 (QD-8075) "Sumo 86" Spotted at Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport - Plus More!
On Saturday 24 July, United States Marine Corps (USMC) Lockheed KC-130J Hercules 168075 (Tail Code QD-8075) was spotted again in the region, this time photographed by me visiting Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport. It had just arrived from Townsville.
In a similar pattern to the previous day, the Herc then departed to RAAF Base Amberley before returning up to Prosie later in the day and then ending up back at Townsville.
