LifeFlight (Aeromed) Bombardier Challenger 604 Bizjet VH-URR "Ambulance 604" Spotted at Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport - Plus More!

On Sunday 8 May, LifeFlight (Aeromed) Bombardier Challenger 604 bizjet VH-URR "Ambulance 604" was spotted on the ground at Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport.  It had earlier arrived from Townsville.


After around an hour on the ground, VH-URR "Ambulance 604" departed Proserpine Airport for Brisbane.  It then returned to Townsville.

Meanwhile, also on Sunday 8 May, as shown above, Queensland Government (QGAir) Rescue (State of Queensland) Agusta AW139 helicopter VH-ESH visited Proserpine Airport as "Rescue 521".  It looked to fly down from its Townsville base to Proserpine Hospital before completing the short hop to Proserpine Airport then back to Townsville.

Of interest, VH-ESH "Rescue 521" also visited Bowen Hospital earlier on Sunday 8 May.

Finally, also on Sunday 8 May, RACQ Central Queensland Rescue Service (CQ Rescue) Bell 412EP helicopter VH-VAU "Rescue 412" was spotted at Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport.


It appears to have arrived from Mackay Airport in the wee small hours of the morning and eventually returned to Mackay Airport during the middle part of the morning.
