C-27J A34-007 as "Wallaby 15" flew out from RAAF Base Amberley and flew up the Queensland coast at low level - including along the East side of Fraser Island - before then flying Bundaberg Airport to complete some circuit work. It then returned to Amberley.

Around the same time, fellow C-27J A34-002 as "Wallaby 20" also flew out of Amberley but at flight levels up to a position South-East of Gladstone. It then turned around and descended into Bundaberg Airport where it too completed some circuit work before then returning back to Amberley.
Also, at the same time, C-27J A34-005 as "Wallaby 07" flew through the region on return to Amberley from a sortie up to Horn Island.
Finally, also on Wednesday 6 July, RAAF Beech B350 Super King Air A32-021 as "Torch 32" landed at Longreach Airport from RAAF Base East Sale before then departing to Cairns.
