While Balmoral Air Dassault Falcon 2000LX bizjet VH-WIO was noted visiting Hamilton Island Airport. It touched down from its Bankstown base via the Sunshine Coast before then returning directly to Bankstown.
Meanwhile, also on Thursday 18 August, locally-owned Aero Optics (General Aviation Maintenance operated) Aero Commander 500-S VH-JAJ completed a local aerial survey flight out of and back to Bundaberg Airport. It had returned to Bankstown earlier in the week.
While Dino Air (Interair) Piper PA-31 Navajo VH-XGL continues to operate aerial survey flights out of and back to Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport.
And Torrens Creek (Hughenden) based SOCATA TBM700 VH-CEA looked to fly down from Aberfoyle to Tamworth.
Finally, also on Thursday 18 August, some interstate light General Aviation (GA) aircraft landed at Longreach Airport. Cessna 172 VH-NYK, Cessna 182 VH-NVB, Cessna 172 VH-JZJ and Beech A36 Bonanza VH-BBA all looked to arrive from the North. While Basair (Vectra Holdings) Piper PA-28-181 Cherokees VH-VDN and VH-VDX looked to arrive into Longreach Airport from the South-West.
UPDATE! On Friday 19 August, VH-BBA, VH-NVB, VH-JZJ and VH-NYK all departed Longreach Airport for Charleville Airport. While Cherokees VH-VDN and VH-VDX departed to Roma Airport.
