After some time on the ground, VH-KBX departed to Sydney and then Brisbane as UTY7765/6.
Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 24 August, Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) SAAB 340B VH-VEB departed Longreach Airport for Mount Isa and Katherine (RAAF Base Tindal) in the Northern Territory. It had arrived from Sydney the previous day.
Fellow Link Airways Metro 23 VH-VEK also visited Longreach Airport, arriving from Brisbane and then departing to Boulia. It later reversed this run.
And fellow Link Airways Cessna 441 Conquest VH-VEW looked to complete an aerial survey flight out of Charters Towers Aerodrome and to Mackay Airport as "Survey 24".
Finally, also on Wednesday 24 August, Avcair (Avgunn) LearJet 60 bizjet VH-ILJ flew up from Brisbane to Rockhampton Airport before it then continued up to Cairns. VH-ILJ then flew down to Mackay Airport before then flying down to the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.
Brisbane-based Teys Australia Cessna 525 Citation CJ2 bizjet VH-TEY departed Rockhampton Airport for Archerfield. It had arrived the previous day from Archerfield via Wagga Wagga.
And Beech 95-B55 VH-MYM arrived into Rockhampton Airport from its Gayndah Aerodrome base before then departing to Townsville.
