On Thursday 13 October, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-003 was spotted completing a missed approach at Gladstone Airport.

It looked to fly up to Gladstone from RAAF Base Williamtown, and after completing the airwork at Gladstone Airport, it returned South to complete another missed approach at the Sunshine Coast before returning back to Williamtown.

Of interest, A30-003 was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Wedgetail 25".
