GAF N-22C Nomad VH-ATO at Gladstone Airport

Making a welcome visit to Gladstone Airport last week was the last airworthy Government Aircraft Factories (GAF) N-22C Nomad VH-ATO.

VH-ATO - which is registered to Bayswater Road Aerial Surveys / Australian Aerial Mapping - touched down from parts unknown on Tuesday 1 October.

After staying parked on the General Aviation (GA) apron for the night, it departed on Wednesday 2 October, again for parts unknown.

Thanks to Gladstone plane spotters Jamie C and Tash C for capturing these great images from a magnificent aircraft!
