Quite a surprise to see on radar that Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-200 / KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) A39-002 performed a missed approach at Hamilton Island Airport on Monday 2 November.
It was flying South from Townsville, and after completing the missed approach, continued onward to RAAF Base Amberley.
