Also Departing Australia This Week was Cessna 510 Citation Mustang Bizjet VH-SQW (now N327NM)

As well as the JetGo Australia Embraer ERJ-145LR N14923 departing Australia for good this week, I noticed that on Thursday 13 September, Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet N327NM departed Bankstown Airport near Sydney bound for Broken Hill, Ayers Rock and Darwin on the first legs of an overseas ferry flight.

Research shows that N327NM operated in Australia - and often made many visits to Central Queensland Airports over the years - while it wore the registration marking of VH-SQW.

VH-SQW was one of five Citation Mustang bizjets that were operated by the Singapore (Airlines) Flying College based at the Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore) Airport between 2010 and its closure in 2013.

VH-SQW made several visits into most Rockhampton and Mackay Airports during this time, with trainee pilots completing various instrument approach and landing drills including several touch and go landings.

In more recent times, VH-SQW continued to make occasional visits to CQ Airports and was registered in Cairns but operated by Flight Options (Australia).

In the days since it departed Bankstown, N327NM has ventured through Indonesia and the Philippines.
