An interesting visitor on Monday 2 August, with A.C.T. based Australian Flight Operations Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-UVE looking to call into Rockhampton Airport.

The smart little PC-12 looked to arrive from and later depart back to the Ballina / Byron Bay Gateway Airport.

Of interest, the PC-12 (sn: 1414) was previously operated by the Northern Territory Police as VH-YDQ.

Also noted visiting Rockhampton Airport, also on Monday 2 August, was Darwin-based Cessna 310R VH-DAI.  It arrived from Cairns and departed to the Gold Coast.  It had flown across from the Top End the previous day.

Meanwhile, also on Monday 2 August, the often visiting American-registered Eclipse EA500 bizjet N257AK departed Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport for Archerfield before then heading back North all the way up to the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour.

It had arrived into Hervey Bay Airport on Saturday 31 July.

Finally, also on Monday 2 August, Gulf Aircraft Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208 Caravan VH-PYO departed Rockhampton Airport for Marble Island and then Brisbane.

And Aerometrex (South Australia) Cessna 421B Golden Eagle VH-ECF departed Rockhampton Airport for Mackay Airport via some more aerial survey work.

Both VH-PYO and VH-ECF had arrived into Rocky on Saturday 31 July.
