Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7DT(BBJ) A36-002 "Envoy 56" Pops into CQ Airports

On Wednesday 5 April, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7DT(BBJ) A36-002 was spotted visiting a couple of Central Queensland Airports on what looked to be a training up the New South Wales and Queensland coasts.

A36-002 was flying as "Envoy 56" and departed Canberra for Coffs Harbour before it then landed at Bundaberg Airport as shown above.  It then continued up to land at Hamilton Island Airport (shown below) before departing there to Cairns for a missed approach and then landing at Townsville for the night.

It is assumed that A36-002 will fly back South - possibly via Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) and Rockhampton Airports - on Thursday 6 April, as these training flights have done in the past.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 6 April, A36-002 "Envoy 56" flew South from Townsville and landed at Mackay Airport before then departing to Rockhampton Airport. It then departed to the Gold Coast before it then continued back to Canberra.
