Pair of Singapore Airlines Airbus A350-900 Heavy Jets 9V-SHV & 9V-SHO Call into Rockhampton Airport as the End of Exercise Wallaby 2023 Draws Near

During the late afternoon on Tuesday 10 October, Singapore Airlines Airbus A350-951 9V-SHV made a stunning arrival into Rockhampton Airport, touching down direct from Singapore's Changi Airport as SIA8921.

9V-SHV taxied in and parked on Gate 6 on the Southern end of the Rockhampton Airport parking apron.

With the end of the Singapore Armed Forces Exercise Wallaby 2023 (XWB23) in sight, the arrival of the A350 marks the start of the final series of heavy jet passenger charter flights in support of the Exercise.

After loading a full flight of personnel and bags, 9V-SHV departed Rockhampton Airport and returned to Changi but as SIA8928.

A little later, fellow Singapore Airlines Airbus A350-951 9V-SHO also arrived into Rockhampton Airport, also from Singapore's Changi Airport but as SIA8925.

It too parked on Gate 6 and also loaded another full flight of personnel and bags before it then departed back to Singapore but as SIA8924.

Current schedules suggest that another A350 will return to Rockhampton Airport on Wednesday 11 October again during the late afternoon.
