Victoria-based Cessna 208B Grand Caravan VH-FTT at CQ Airports - Arrives into the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour - Plus More!

On Tuesday 30 September, Victoria-based Cessna 208B Grand Caravan VH-FTT flew up from Bankstown to Roma Airport and then Mackay Airport before finally getting into the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour.

UPDATE!  Interestingly, on Wednesday 1 October, VH-FTT was noted completing tourist flights out of and back to the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour our over the Great Barrier Reef possibly for Fly Australia Charters.

And Eagle One Aviation (Navair Flight Operations) Cessna 525B CitiationJet CJ3+ bizjet VH-X8X as "Navair 143" flew up from the Sunshine Coast and Archerfield to Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport and then down to the Gold Coast.

Sleek Brisbane-based FIFO Jet P/L Beech B200 King Air VH-FAQ Spotted at the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour - Plus More!

Also on Tuesday 8 March, Brisbane-based FIFO Jet P/L Beech B200 King Air VH-FAQ was spotted visiting the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour.


It looked to arrive from and later depart back to Archerfield.

One report suggested that it delivered hamburger buns for the local Airlie Beach McDonalds restaurant!

Also recently spotted at the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour was recently acquired Cessna 182P VH-BMS of the locally-based Fly Australia Airlines (Charter).



Of interest, Fly Australia also operates Cessna U206F VH-AEH, Cessna 172G VH-PLV and Piper PA-31 Navajo VH-CYY on local scenic and charter flights.

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday 8 March, Avcair Cessna 425 Conquest 1 VH-BSM flew up from Archerfield to Roma Airport before it then continued to Winton, Julia Creek and Hughenden Airports before it then returned to Archerfield.

While Edwards Coaches Cessna 441 VH-TAZ called into Rockhampton Airport from Bankstown before it then departed to the Gold Coast.

Finally, also on Tuesday 8 March, Skytrans Airlines Dash-8-100 VH-QQF completed a run to Labona and back to Rockhampton Airport as SKP773/4 before then departing to Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) and Cairns Airports as SKP86.

Fellow Skytrans Dash-8-100 VH-QQG arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns and Proserpine Airports as SKP85 before it then completed a flight to Labona and back to Rockhampton Airport as SKP771/2.
