Pionair Australia Embraer E190-E2 (ERJ-190-300 STD) VH-IKJ Pops into Rockhampton (and Mackay) Airport - Plus More! - UPDATED!

On Wednesday 19 July, Pionair Australia Embraer E190-E2 (ERJ-190-300 STD) VH-IKJ was noted arriving into Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane and Adelaide as SFZ9090/696.  It then departed Rockhampton Airport and returned to Adelaide but as SFZ9088.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 20 July, VH-IKJ departed Adelaide for Newcastle (Williamtown) before then flying up to Mackay Airport all as SFZ716.  VH-IKJ then returned to Brisbane from Mackay Airport but as SFZ9093.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 21 July, GBJ Nominees (Navair Flight Operations) Textron (Cessna) 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-IEQ as "Navair 123" arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Bankstown and is due to return to there later in the evening. 

Seair Pacific (Istlecote) Cessna 208 Caravan VH-TFB flew up from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport to Middlemount Aerodrome before returning down to Maryborough Airport and back to Hervey Bay Airport.

Hellwin Aviation (Emerald) Robinson R44 II VH-TIB arrived into Rockhampton Airport from the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour before it then departed to Agnes Water.  VH-TIB looked to later reverse the flight and return to Shute Harbour.

The Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane before it then departed to Mackay Airport and then onwards to Townsville and Cairns.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 20 July, VH-SGQ flew back South from Cairns and Townsville to Mackay Airport and then Rockhampton Airport before returning to Brisbane. 

Aerometrex Vulcanair (Partenavia) P.68C VH-CJJ looked to visit Gladstone Airport, arriving from the South and looked to depart to the West.

And New South Wales registered Lancair IV VH-LKG, which landed at Longreach Airport on Monday, departed there to Aramac to Birdsville Airports.

Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe-146-200 VH-SYO Spotted at Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

Late on Wednesday 29 March, Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe-146-200 VH-SYO arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns as 'SFZ9089' / "Skyforce 9089".   Then on Thursday 30 March, VH-SYO departed Rockhampton Airport for Horn Island as 'SFZ644' / "Skyforce 644" on what seems to be one of the regular school student charter flights.  VH-SYO then flew down to Brisbane as 'SFZ9079' / "Skyforce 9079".

While Air Charter Services / Flight Options (Australia) Embraer EMB-505 Phenom 300 bizjet VH-VKX flew down from Brisbane to Melbourne (Essendon) and then up to Hamilton Island Airport.  It then flew down to Rockhampton Airport and then returned to Brisbane.

And Brisbane-based Teys Australia Cessna 525 Citation CJ2 bizjet VH-TEY was noted departing Blackall Airport for Toowoomba-Wellcamp and Archerfield.  It looked to have flown up there the previous day.

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 30 March, Brisbane-based Crockett Aviation Group Beech B200 King Air VH-FAQ visited the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site from Archerfield direct.

Flight One (Services) Beech B200 King Air VH-FON also visited Labona but from Archerfield via the Sunshine Coast. 

Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) Cessna 441 Conquest VH-VEJ flew up from Brisbane to Emerald Airport and then back to the capital.

And Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) SAAB 340B VH-VEB flew down from Horn Island to land at Mackay Airport.  It then departed to Brisbane.  It appears that VH-VEB flew North from Brisbane to Charters towers Aerodrome and then Horn Island the previous day.

Pionair Australia (Skyforce Cargo) British Aerospace BAe 146-200QT VH-SFV Calls into Longreach Airport - Plus More!

On Saturday 11 March, Pionair Australia (Skyforce Cargo) British Aerospace BAe 146-200QT VH-SFV was noted visiting Longreach Airport twice while on a closed freight charter flight from Brisbane to The Monument (a.k.a. Phosphate Hill Airport) in Western Queensland.

It flew as SFZ914/915 and later departed Longreach Airport for Bankstown.

Meanwhile, also on Saturday 11 March, Gulf Aircraft Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208 Caravan VH-PYO looked to also depart Longreach Airport but for Caloundra.  It seems to have arrived a couple of days prior.

Central Highlands Aerial Services (CHAS) Cessna 208 Caravan VH-LMZ flew back from Adelaide (Parafield) via Charleville Airport to its Emerald landing site.  It looked to have flown down there to South Australia last year!

And Stirling Helicopters Eurocopter AS350B3 Squirrel helicopter VH-EUM flew up from Redcliffe to Bundaberg Airport, The Old Station, Rockhampton Airport, the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour and finally, Mareeba.

UPDATE!  On Sunday 12 March, VH-EUM continued up to Papua New Guinea (PNG) via a few stops in Far North Queensland.

Finally, also on Saturday 11 March, Alliance Airlines Fokker F-100 VH-UQA completed a sports charter into Rockhampton Airport from and back to Cairns as UTY3385/6.

And LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-OFB "Ambulance 624" called into Rockhampton Airport, arriving from Brisbane and Toowoomba (Wellcamp) and later departing to Townsville.

Pionair Australia Embraer E190-E2 (ERJ-190-300 STD) VH-IKJ Pops into Rockhampton Airport Again - Plus More!

On Wednesday 8 February, Pionair Australia Embraer E190-E2 (ERJ-190-300 STD) VH-IKJ was noted completing a training flight into Rockhampton Airport.

The Embraer arrived from and then later depart back to Brisbane and was heard to use the flight numbers and callsigns of "Skyforce 9078/9" for its flights.

While on the ground at Rockhampton Airport, crew changes occurred as well.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 8 February, Air Gold Coast Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-CDG visited Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport from its Gold Coast base. 

Graham Aviation (Cairns) Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-FMZ was noted visiting Hamilton Island Airport once again from its Mareeba base via Cairns. 

And Navair Flight Operations Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100 bizjet VH-LXZ as "Navair 131" visited Mackay Airport from Bankstown and Maitland.

Finally, also on Wednesday 8 February, the visiting Emerald Air Surveys P/L (Western Australia) Diamond DA42NG Twin Star VH-PXT looked to depart the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour for Thargomindah and Port Lincoln.  It is due to continue to Forest and Jandakot in Western Australia the next day.

VH-PXT has been 'on holidays' at Shute Harbour since just before Christmas last year.

Beech 95-B55 VH-MYM visited Emerald Airport from its Gayndah Aerodrome base.

Piper PA-34-200 Seneca VH-IAJ arrived into Emerald Airport from Tamworth.

UPDATE!  On Saturday 11 February, VH-IAJ departed Emerald Airport and returned to Tamworth.

Brisbane-based Hawker Beechcraft G36 Bonanza VH-DYH visited Rockhampton Airport from Archerfield.

Private (New South Wales) Raytheon B200 King Air VH-MHV called into Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane before later departing to its Scone base.

Bunderra Cattle Co Piper PA-46-350P Malibu Mirage VH-KNV departed Rockhampton Airport for Boulia and Barrow Creek before returning direct to Rockhampton Airport.

Wagga Air Centre (Mabena) SOCATA TBM-850 VH-PVM landed at Bundaberg Airport from Wagga Wagga and Dubbo.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 9 February, VH-PVM departed Bundaberg Airport and returned to Dubbo Wagga Wagga direct. 

While new Bell Textron 407GXi helicopter VH-JIW flew up from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport to Rockhampton and Mackay Airports before then continuing up to Townsville and Cairns.  It flew up to Hervey Airport from Bankstown, Gunnedah, Inverell and Archerfield the previous day and looks to be the third of five new Bell 407 helicopters on delivery to Cairns-based Nautilus Aviation.

And Hinterland Aviation Hinterland Aviation Cessna 208 Caravan VH-NTQ flew down from Townsville to the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site and then to Mackay Airport and back to Labona and Townsville as HND280/1/2/3.

Navair Flight Operations Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100EV Bizjet VH-MQX Calls into Moranbah Airport - Plus More!

On Wednesday 1 February, Multiquip Poultry / Navair Flight Operations Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100EV bizjet VH-MQX as "Navair 169" was noted arriving into Moranbah Airport from Bankstown.

After spending the day parked, VH-MQX "Navai 169" departed Moranbah Airport and returned to Bankstown.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 1 February, Austrek Aviation Beech B200 Super King Air VH-ZGD visited Moura Aerodrome from its Toowoomba base.

Brisbane-based Hewitt Cattle Australia P/L SOCATA TBM 700 VH-PGA flew up to Moura Aerodrome again from Archerfield.  It then flew across to Biloela / Thangool Airport and then back to Moura Aerodrome.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 2 February, VH-PGA flew back to Archerfield from Moura Aerodrome.  It then returned to Moura Aerodrome before flying down to Tamworth.

Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-XDW visited my local Clermont Aerodrome from its Toowoomba-Wellcamp base.

While Cessna 208B Grand Caravan VH-RTC flew down to Gladstone Airport and back to Rockhampton Airport.

Curley Equipment P/L Textron (Cessna) 208B Grand Caravan EX VH-CUY visited Longreach Airport from its Cloncurry Airport base.

And Brisbane-based Piper PA-31-350 VH-RPV visited Bundaberg Airport from Archerfield and Brisbane.

Finally, also on Wednesday 1 February, Pionair Australia Embraer E190-E2 (ERJ-190-300 STD) VH-IKJ visited Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane as "Skyforce 9078/9".

Local Embraer EMB-550 Legacy 500 Bizjet N142GZ Back in The Air out of Mackay Airport - Plus More!

On Thursday 26 January, the locally-based Embraer EMB-550 Legacy 500 bizjet N142GZ was back in the air, noted departing Mackay Airport for Sydney.

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 26 January, Brisbane-based Crockett Aviation Group Beech B200 King Air VH-FAQ visited the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site from Archerfield and the Sunshine Coast.

While Royal Victorian Aero Club Cessna 172S VH-LSP flew up from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport to Rockhampton Airport and then Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport.  It looks like VH-LSP has spent the last week and-a-half flying up through Victoria and New South Wales after taking off from Melbourne (Moorabbin).

And ZephAir Australia Piper PA-34-220T Seneca VH-YSI flew from Mackay Airport to Redcliffe where it then completed a local aerial survey flight before then flying up to Gayndah Aerodrome for the night.  VH-YSI had flown into Mackay Airport from Cairns earlier in the week.

Finally, late on Wednesday 25 January, Pionair Australia Embraer E190-E2 (ERJ-190-300 STD) VH-IKJ was noted visited Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane as "Skyforce 9078/9".

On Thursday 5 January, Pionair Australia Embraer E190-E2 (ERJ-190-300 STD) VH-IKJ was noted completing a pair of training flights that both called into Rockhampton Airport.

VH-IKJ departs Brisbane Airport last week on a flight also up to Rockhampton Airport

Both flights saw the Embraer arrive from and then later depart back to Brisbane.

VH-IKJ flew as "Skyforce 9076/7/8/9" for its flights.

While on the ground at Rockhampton Airport, crew changes occurred as well.

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 5 January, Machjet (Machjet International) Cessna 525A Citation CJ2 bizjet VH-ZIY was noted calling into Hamilton Island Airport.  It looked to fly up from the Sunshine Coast and looks to be spending at least night at Hamo.

And Bowenville (near Toowoomba) based Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ bizjet VH-JSZ called into Roma Airport while flying up from Archerfield to its Natal Downs property 'base'.

Finally, also on Thursday 5 January, Brisbane-based Crockett Aviation Group Beech B200 King Air VH-FAQ visited the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site from Archerfield and the Sunshine Coast.

The Queensland Police Service (Airwing) (State of Queensland) Raytheon B1900D VH-PSK visited Rockhampton Airport from Cairns and Townsville.

Aero Professional Services Piper PA-46-310P Malibu VH-BGK looked to visit Rockhampton Airport from its Emerald (Denison Downs) base.

And after arriving last Thursday 29 December, Victoria-based Cirrus SR22 VH-SRY departed the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour for Bourke and then Tyabb.

Pionair Australia Embraer E190-E2 (ERJ-190-300 STD) VH-IKJ Pops into Rockhampton Airport Twice!

On Thursday 29 December, Pionair Australia Embraer E190-E2 (ERJ-190-300 STD) VH-IKJ was noted completing a pair of training flights that both called into Rockhampton Airport.

Both flights saw the Embraer arrive from and then later depart back to Brisbane.

VH-IKJ flew as "Skyforce 9076/7/8/9" for its flights.

While on the ground at Rockhampton Airport, crew changes occurred as well.

Meanwhile, as mentioned previously, former Pionair Embraer E-190 (ERJ-190-100 LR) VH-SEF has been acquired by Alliance Airlines and was ferried back to Brisbane from Townsville on Wednesday 12 October.  It was then promptly re-registered at the start of November as VH-XFC and was photographed below parked at Brisbane Airport at the end of November. 

VH-XFC (ex VH-SEF) is yet to enter service with Alliance Airlines.

Pionair Australia Embraer E190-E2 (ERJ-190-300 STD) VH-IKJ Pops into Rockhampton Airport in a Revised Livery

Also on Thursday 27 October, Pionair Australia Embraer E190-E2 (ERJ-190-300 STD) VH-IKJ was spotted passing through Rockhampton Airport while flying down from Townsville to Brisbane.

The Embraer has been in Townsville since the start of the month and had a re-paint at the Flying Colours Paint Shop at Townsville Airport.  Sadly, the attractive Air Kiribati livery that VH-IKJ was delivered in and flew around in since February 2020 was removed given the South-Pacific Airline's decision to not pursue jet transport operations.

It is assumed that VH-IKJ will join Pionair Australia's general passenger charter flight services, alongside their British Aerodrome BAe 146-200 quad-jets.

As mentioned below, Pionair Australia's second Embraer E-190 (ERJ-190-100 LR) VH-SEF, has now been acquired by Alliance Airlines and was ferried to Townsville for re-painting at the local Flying Colours paint-shop.  VH-SEF looked to recently return to Brisbane from Townsville on Wednesday 12 October.

New Graham Aviation (Cairns) Cessna 510 Citation Mustang Bizjet VH-FMZ Pops into Longreach Airport - Plus More!

On Tuesday 13 September, new Graham Aviation (Cairns) Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-FMZ was noted visiting Longreach Airport.  It looked to arrive from and then later depart back to Cairns.

VH-FMZ at Jandakot Airport just before flying across to Cairns

Of interest, VH-FMZ is the 'replacement' for fellow Cessna 510 Citation Mustang VH-FNI which was also operated by Graham Aviation out of Mareeba and Cairns.  VH-FMZ was registered at the start of August and previously wore the American registration marking of N510RP.  VH-FMZ looked to fly across from Jandakot (pictured above) on Monday 5 September.

VH-FNI was damaged in a taxiing incident at the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour in April and was subsequently de-registered but then re-registered recently but to Air Link in Dubbo.

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday 13 September, Air Charter Services / Flight Options (Australia) Embraer EMB-505 Phenom 300 bizjet VH-VKX visited Hamilton Island Airport from Brisbane.

Avcair (Avgunn) LearJet 60 bizjet VH-ILJ also visited Hamilton Island Airport from Brisbane.

Mitchell Water Cessna 525 Citation M2 bizjet VH-WMY departed Mackay Airport for Chinchilla Aerodrome and then Melbourne (Essendon).  It had arrived into Mackay Airport from Archerfield late on Monday 12 September.

Norair P/L Beech A36 Bonanza VH-PIZ visited Rockhampton Airport from its Townsville base.

Piper PA-30 Comanche VH-EQM arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Watts Bridge.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 15 September, VH-EQM departed Rockhampton Airport and returned to Watts Bridge.

Bunderra Cattle Co (Rockhampton) Piper PA-46-350P Malibu Mirage VH-KNV had a busy day of flying out of and back to Rockhampton Airport.  It headed to Emerald, Mount Isa, Brunette Downs and back to Emerald and then Rocky.

Townsville Airlines Beech 1900D VH-JYA arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns and Townsville.  It then departed to Brisbane. VH-JYA then flew directly back up to Townsville before then returning to Cairns.

Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-DYN arrived into the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site from Toowoomba-Wellcamp. It is due to return to Wellcamp early on Wednesday 14 September.

While on their weekly Fly-in Fly-in (FIFO) charter flights, Southern Air Beech 1900 VH-VSO visited Moranbah Airport from West Sale and Bourke, and DeGunst Transport P/L Textron (Cessna) 208 Caravan VH-NPZ completed its weekly FIFO run from Bundaberg Airport to Nebo Aerodrome, this time with a stop at Gladstone Airport.

And Queensland Government (QGAir) Rescue (State of Queensland) Leonardo S.P.A. Helicopter (Agusta) AW139 helicopter VH-EGF was noted completing a medical evacuation flight out of Mackay Base Hospital to Townsville Base Hospital as "Rescue 521".

Finally, late on Tuesday 13 September, Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe 146-200QC VH-SAZ was noted arriving in Rockhampton Airport from Bankstown as 'SFZ9026' / "Skyforce 9026"

VH-SAZ is due to depart Rockhampton Airport for Cairns and Horn Island as 'SFZ681' / "Skyforce 681" early on Wednesday 14 September on what appears to be the now-regular school holiday run to Far North Queensland.

Bowenville-based Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ Bizjet VH-JSZ Pops into my local Clermont Aerodrome - Plus More!

On Monday 29 August, Bowenville (near Toowoomba) based Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ bizjet VH-JSZ was noted visiting my local Clermont Aerodrome.  It flew up from and then later returned to Archerfield via the Sunshine Coast.

Meanwhile, also on Monday 29 August, Brisbane-based Avcair Cessna 425 Conquest 1 VH-BSM flew up from Archerfield to Mackay Airport and then Palm Island.  It then flew down to Rockhampton Airport before returning to Archerfield.

While Townsville Airlines (Flightech Air Logistics) Beech B200 King Air VH-WZN flew down from Cairns to Rockhampton Airport before heading to Brisbane.  It then returned to Rockhampton Airport before flying up to Mackay Airport and then back to Cairns.

RDO Equipment Co. (ex Vanderfield) Pilatus PC-12/47 VH-WPH visited Biloela / Thangool Airport from its Toowoomba base.

And Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) Metro 23 VH-VEU also flew into Biloela / Thangool Airport on the airline's scheduled service from and back to Brisbane.  Plus Fellow Link Airways Cessna 441 VH-VEJ visited Emerald Airport from Brisbane.

Finally, also on Monday 29 August, Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe-146-200 VH-SYO was noted arriving into Longreach Airport.  It touched down from Bankstown, Sydney and then Brisbane as 'SFZ9005/605' / "Skyforce 9005/605".

At the time of writing, it appears that VH-SYO is remaining at Longreach Airport for at least the night.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 31 August, VH-SYO departed Longreach Airport for Winton and Mount Isa as 'SFZ607' / "Skyforce 607".  It then flew to Cairns as 'SFZ9057' / "Skyforce 9057".

Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe-146-200 VH-SYO Calls into Longreach Airport - Plus More!

On Monday 1 August, Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe-146-200 VH-SYO was noted arriving into Longreach Airport.  It touched down from Sydney and then Brisbane as 'SFZ605' / "Skyforce 605".

At the time of writing, it appears that VH-SYO is remaining at Longreach Airport for at least the night.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 3 August, VH-SYO departed Longreach Airport for Winton and Mount Isa as 'SFZ607' / "Skyforce 607".  It then flew to Cairns as 'SFZ9057' / "Skyforce 9057".

Also on Monday 1 August, Seair Pacific / Istlecote Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208B Caravan VH-TQI departed Longreach Airport and flew into Lady Elliott Island and then the Gold Coast at the conclusion of what appears to be a closed tourist charter flight.  It flew into Longreach Airport from Birdsville two days earlier.

Meanwhile, also on Monday 1 August, RDO Equipment Co. (ex Vanderfield) Pilatus PC-12/47 VH-WPH was back in the region, flying up from Toowoomba to Dalby and then Biloela / Thangool Airport.  It then flew across to Emerald Airport before returning to Thangool and Toowoomba Airports.

Eastern Air Services (Port Macquarie) Piper PA-31-350 VH-WGF flew up from Archerfield to Rockhampton and Hamilton Island Airports.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 4 August, VH-WGF departed Hamilton Island Airport for Gladstone Airport and then back to Archerfield.

New South Wales-based Campbell Aviation PA-28-181 Cherokees VH-XCW, VH-XHE and VH-XGN - plus another PA-28-181 Cherokee VH-NRF - all landed at Emerald Airport from Hamilton Island Airport (VH-XGN from Proserpine), before they then continued out to Longreach Airport.

And New South Wales-based Cessna 172 VH-CYF and Mooney M20J VH-VMQ both flew into Longreach Airport from the South-West before continuing further to the North-East.

Finally, also on Monday 1 August, Australian Air Services Cessna 501 Citation SP bizjet VH-NOU departed Hamilton Island airport for Narrabri and Bankstown.  It had arrived into Hamo from Bankstown and Roma Airport on Wednesday 27 July.

And West Australia-based Australian Corporate Jet Centres Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-SCR flew into Hamilton Island Airport from Perth before flying down to Brisbane.

Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe-146-200 VH-SAZ Spotted at Charleville Airport

On Sunday 24 July, Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe-146-200 VH-SAZ was photographed departing Charleville Airport for Brisbane as 'SFZ650' / "Skyforce 650".

As posted below, VH-SAZ had arrived into Charleville Airport from Brisbane but as 'SFZ649' / "Skyforce 649" on Friday 22 July.

Townsville Airlines (Flightech Air Logistics) Beech B200 King Air VH-WZN Calls into Rockhampton Airport - Qld Police Run! - Plus More!

On Friday 22 July, Townsville Airlines (Flightech Air Logistics) Beech B200 King Air VH-WZN was noted arriving into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns and Townsville.

VH-WZN then departed Rockhampton Airport for Brisbane before later returning back up to Townsville and Cairns.

It seemed to be operating the regular Queensland Police Service flights down and back up the Queensland coast.

And Armada Aviation (of Ringwood in Victoria) Pilatus PC-12 VH-NWI flew down from Cairns to Emerald and then Injune Airports on what seems to be its continuing closed tourist charter flight.

Meanwhile, also on Friday 22 July, Stroud Aviation and Transportation (Boonah) / Navair Flight Operations Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-SHI visited the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site from Archerfield.

Finally, a couple of larger movements, also on Friday 22 July, with Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 jet VH-QQY flying into Hamilton Island Airport from Brisbane via Sydney on a closed tourist charter flight as UTY1851/2.

And Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe-146-200 VH-SAZ was noted arriving into Charleville Airport from Brisbane as 'SFZ649' / "Skyforce 649".

UPDATE!  On Sunday 24 July, VH-SAZ departed Charleville Airport and returned to Brisbane but as 'SFZ650' / "Skyforce 650".

Southern Airlines Beech 1900C VH-VSO Calls into Emerald Airport on Weekly FIFO Flight - Plus More!

On Tuesday 12 July, Southern Air Beech 1900 VH-VSO was spotted visiting Emerald Airport on its weekly Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flight.

As it has done for the past month or so, VH-VSO (or sister-ship VH-YSO last week) landed at Emerald from West Sale and Bourke before later departing back to West Sale and then to Melbourne (Moorabbin).

Meanwhile also on Tuesday 12 July, MacKellar Mining Equipment Pty Ltd (Revesco Aviation) Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign bizjet VH-MMC was noted visiting the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site. It looked to arrive from and then later depart back to its Sunshine Coast base.

Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-DYN also was noted arriving into Labona but from Toowoomba-Wellcamp.

UPDATE!  Early on Wednesday 13 July, VH-DYN departed Labona and returned to Wellcamp.

While Austrek Aviation Beech B200 King Air VH-WXO flew out of the Gold Coast for Longreach Airport. It then departed to Alice Springs and Peterman (Kings Street Station) in the Northern Territory.

Diamond DA-40 Diamond Star VH-YJP departed Longreach Airport for Mount Isa. It had arrived from Toowoomba and Roma Airports the previous day.

Raytheon 58 Baron VH-EZR arrived into Longreach Airport from its Chinchilla Airport base.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 14 July, VH-EZR departed Longreach Airport and returned to Chinchilla Airport.

DeGunst Transport P/L Textron (Cessna) 208 Caravan VH-NPZ made its weekly flight from Bundaberg to Nebo Airfield before then flying across to Mackay Airport, where it seems to be staying for the night.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 13 July, VH-NPZ departed Mackay Airport for Rockhampton Airport before returning to Bundy.

Flanagan Aviation (New South Wales) Beech 95-B55 Baron VH-EUZ visited Bundaberg Airport from its Lismore base.

Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-MDH of M. D. H. P/L (Cloncurry) was noted flying across from Devoncourt Station to my local Clermont Aerodrome before it later departed to Archerfield.

And the Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ flew north from Brisbane to Cairns before then calling into Townsville and Rockhampton Airports and the back to Brisbane.

Finally late on Tuesday 12 July, Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe 146-200QC VH-SAZ was noted arriving into Rockhampton Airport from Horn Island and Cairns as 'SFZ643' / "Skyforce 643". It then departed to Brisbane later as as 'SFZ9064' / "Skyforce 9064".

Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe-146-200 VH-SAZ Visits Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

On Thursday 16 June, Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe 146-200QC VH-SAZ was noted departing Rockhampton Airport for Cairns and Horn Island as 'SFZ681' / "Skyforce 681".  It appears to have arrived late on Wednesday 15 June from Brisbane as 'SFZ9063' / "Skyforce 9063" having earlier completed its weekly visit to Mackay Airport - see Blog post below!

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 16 June,  Avcair (Avgunn) LearJet 60 bizjet VH-ILJ was noted visiting Bundaberg Airport.

Baron Capital Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 VH-TFW looked to visit Hamilton Island Airport from Armidale.

Brisbane-based Avcair Cessna 425 Conquest 1 VH-BSM was noted departing Collinsville Aerodrome for the South.

Machjet (Machjet International) Beech B200C King Air VH-PUY looked to arrive into Maryborough Airport from the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.  It then completed the short hop up to Bundaberg Airport before then heading West.

While Brisbane-based Piper PA-34-220T Seneca III VH-YSA flew up from Archerfield to Hamilton Island Airport.

UPDATE!  On Sunday 19 June, VH-YSA departed Hamo and returned to Archerfield.

And Sydney-based Amateur-built Express S2000 VH-MWD was noted arriving into the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour from Caloundra.

Finally, also on Thursday 16 June, Tasmanian-based Helicopter Resources P/L's Eurocopter AS.350B3 Squirrel helicopter VH-UUG flew into Gladstone Airport from Merimbula, Shellharbour, Port McQuarrie and Toowoomba.  It looked to start its flight from Hobart the previous day.

UPDATE!  On Friday 17 June, VH-UUG departed Gladstone Airport for Mackay Airport and seems to have now commenced operations out of there.

Machjet (Machjet International) Cessna 525A Citation CJ2 Bizjet VH-ZIY Also Spotted at Gladstone Airport - Plus More!

Also on Wednesday 15 June, Machjet (Machjet International) Cessna 525A Citation CJ2 bizjet VH-ZIY was also spotted visiting Gladstone Airport.

It looked to arrive from the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane before later departing to the North - possibly to Cairns.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 15 June,  Poolhurst Aviation Air Charter Services Pilatus PC-24 jet VH-VTF was noted visiting my local Clermont Aerodrome.  It arrived from Archerfield before later departing to Charleville and Adelaide Airports.

Flylink Aviation College Diamond DA 40 VH-EUU flew into Longreach Airport from Archerfield via Roma Airport.

UPDATE!  On Friday 17 June, VH-EUU departed Longreach Airport for Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport and then the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour.

Brisbane-based Australian Agricultural Company Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-AAC arrived into Bundaberg Airport from Archerfield before later departing to the Gold Coast.

While Brisbane-based Avcair Cessna 425 Conquest 1 VH-BSM flew into Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport from Archerfield and Collinsville Airports.  It then returned to Collinsville Airport where it appears to be overnighting.  VH-BSM is scheduled to return to Archerfield on Thursday 16 June.

Navair Flight Operations Embraer EMB-500 Phenom 100 bizjet VH-LXZ looked to visit Mackay Airport once again from Bankstown and Maitland. 

Pilatus PC-12/45 VH-PID of Kibble (Aeronautics and Technology Holdings) looked to visit Mackay Airport from Toowoomba.

And Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe 146-200QC VH-SAZ visited Mackay Airport on its weekly Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flight.  It arrived from and later departing back to Brisbane as SFZ667/8.

Finally, also on Wednesday 15 June, Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) Metro 23 VH-VEK called into Longreach Airport from Brisbane before later returning there but via Boulia.

Fellow Link Airways Cessna 441 Conquest VH-VEJ flew up from Brisbane to Oaky Creek Mine Site and Clermont Aerodrome.  It then returned to Brisbane. 

And Link Airways SAAB 340B VH-VEM was noted visiting Theodore Airport from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.

Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe-146-200 VH-SYO Arrives into Longreach Airport Again - Plus More!

On Thursday 26 May, Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe-146-200 VH-SYO was noted back in the region, again looking to be operating a closed tourist charter.  Again it arrived into Longreach Airport from Bankstown, Sydney and Brisbane as 'SFZ9005/605' / "Skyforce 9005/605".

At the time of writing, it appears that VH-SYO is remaining at Longreach Airport for at least the night.

UPDATE!  On Saturday 28 May, VH-SYO departed Longreach Airport for Winton and Mount Isa.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 1 June, VH-SYO returned to the region, arriving into Hamilton Island Airport from Cairns.  Then on Friday 3 June, it departed Hamo for Brisbane, Sydney and Bankstown.

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 26 May, RDO Equipment Co. (ex Vanderfield) Pilatus PC-12/47 VH-WPH arrived into Bowen Aerodrome from Toowoomba and Archerfield.  It was due to return to these locations on Friday 27 May.

And Kirkhope Aviation (Victoria) Cessna 208B Grand Caravan VH-PRK was noted calling into Longreach Airport from Hughenden.

On Wednesday 25 May, MacKellar Mining Equipment Pty Ltd (Revesco Aviation) Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign bizjet VH-MMC was noted visiting the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site.  It looked to arrive from and then later depart back to its Sunshine Coast base.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 25 May, Machjet (Machjet International) Beech B200C King Air VH-PUY was noted in the region again.  It flew up from the Sunshine Coast on it weekly flight to Labona before then flying across to Rockhampton Airport and back to the Sunshine Coast.

Later, fellow Machjet (Machjet International) Hawker Beechcraft B200 King Air VH-ZSY was noted completing their weekly Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flight from the Sunshine Coast to Charters Towers Aerodrome.

UPDATE!  As expected, on Thursday 26 May, VH-ZSY departed Charters Towers Aerodrome and returned to the Sunshine Coast.

And Auscott P/L Beechcraft B200GT King Air VH-NMW arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Toowoomba.  It was due to return to Toowoomba from Rocky early on Thursday 26 May.

Finally, also on Wednesday 25 May, Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe 146-200QC VH-SAZ was spotted visiting Mackay Airport on its weekly Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flight.

It arrived from and later departing back to Brisbane as SFZ667/8.

Avcair Embraer 500 Phenom 100EV Bizjet VH-NJR Calls into Maryborough Airport Again - Plus More!

On Monday 23 May, Avcair Embraer 500 Phenom 100EV bizjet VH-NJR was noted visiting Maryborough Airport once again.

Interestingly, flight tracking apps suggest that it started the day still at Charters Towers Aerodrome, with it flying down from there to Brisbane.  VH-NJR then visited Maryborough Airport before returning to the capital.

VH-NJR looked to fly up to Charters Towers Aerodrome from Brisbane via Rockhampton Airport on Friday 20 May.

And up the road at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport, also on Monday 23 May, Air Gold Coast Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-CDG was noted visiting from its Gold Coast base.

Meanwhile, also on Monday 23 May, Seair Pacific / Istlecote Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208B Caravan VH-TQI was noted flying across from Longreach Airport to Rockhampton Airport.  It then departed to Lady Elliot Island.  

VH-TQI looks to have departed the Gold Coast three days prior and called into Birdsville and Charleville Airports while on a closed charter flight.

While the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) (State of Queensland) Raytheon B1900D VH-PSK flew down from Cairns and Townsville to Brisbane before arriving into Rockhampton Airport.  It then returned to Townsville and Cairns.

And Wagga Air Centre (Mabena) SOCATA TBM-850 VH-PVM flew up from Wagga Wagga, Canberra and Toowoomba to Mackay Airport where it appears to be staying for at least the night.

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 24 May, VH-PVM flew down from Mackay Airport to Kaiuroo Station on the Mackenzie River, 220 kilometres west of Rockhampton. In the afternoon, it then departed there to Emerald Airport and then Toowoomba.

Finally, also on Monday 23 May, Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe-146-200 VH-SYO departed Hamilton Island Airport for Brisbane as 'SFZ612' / "Skyforce 612".  It then flew to Bankstown as 'SFZ9009' / "Skyforce 9009".

As posted above, VH-SYO arrived into Hamo the previous day from Cairns as as 'SFZ611' / "Skyforce 611".
