In the post, we pointed out the 'colourful' past of Jetstar Airways' Boeing B717-200 VH-VQH - which later became VH-YQH. After being painted gold, VH-VQH wore short-lived titles for a men's deoderant, before eventually wearing 'Happy Christmas' and 'Happy New Year' titles.
After being re-registered VH-YQH, the B717-200 then wore colour and titles for Domino's Pizza - and in particular their 'puffection' guarantee.
Eventually, VH-YQH was withdrawn from Jetstar service and placed in storage at Tamworth Airport - along with a couple of its sisterships - until National Jet Systems (now Cobham Aviation) took over the operation of the Boeing B717-200 fleet for QantasLink. It was later to be re-registered VH-NXM, and still flys with QantasLink today.
I think it's rather topical that we point this out, as VH-NXM has recently returned to operations in Central Queensland after being 'rotated' through Brisbane last weekend, and was spotted at Gladstone Airport earlier in the week.
