Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-203 / KC-30A (MRTT) A39-004 Missed Approach at Rockhampton Airport

Making a welcome return to Central Queensland skies on Monday 12 January was Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-203 / KC-30A (MRTT) A39-004, which conducted a missed approach at Rockhampton Airport.

Seen flying up and down Queensland during the earlier parts of the day, A39-004 was this time flying South from Townsville before conducting a missed approach on to Runway 33 at Rocky.  After completing the missed approach, it continued South Amberley.

The MRTT was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Dragon 04".
