Exercise Wallaby 2015 - More Spectacular Take Off Photos of RSAF F-16s on Night Sorties from Rockhampton Airport

Local plane spotter Dan has again taken the time to capture and send through some spectacular photos he captured last Thursday 29 October at Rockhampton Airport as the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) General Dynamics (Lockheed Martin) F-16D Block 52 Version Fighting Falcon jets took to the air on night sorties to the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA).

Sadly though, it isn't a sight that we will see any more as they have reportedly concluded their night sorties, with all flying by the F-16s concluding on Thursday 5 November.

There are reports that all six F-16s will depart Rockhampton Airport for Darwin on Monday 9 November with all RSAF flying wrapping up later in November along with the conclusion of the Singapore Armed Force's Exercise Wallaby 2015.
