Two Hevilift Australia ATR 72-500s VH-FVM and VH-YWV (Now With Titles!) Spotted Together at Emerald Airport on FIFO Charters - Plus More!

On Tuesday 2 June, an interesting sight at Emerald Airport with two Hevilift Australia ATR 72-500s spotted on the ground together - including their most recently delivered aircraft now wearing company titles!

As shown, the previous all-white ATR 72-500 VH-YWV (ex OY-CLU) now wears 'Hevilift' titles.  It had called into Emerald Airport from Moranbah Airport as HT701.  It later returned there as HT702.

While ATR 72-500 VH-FVM looked to call into Emerald Airport from Townsville before later departing to Brisbane as HT704/738.

Meanwhile, also shown on the ground at Emerald Airport, also on Tuesday 2 June, was Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 jet VH-NUZ.  It had arrived from Brisbane as UTY4076 and was closed up ready for an overnight stay.

Of interest, VH-NUZ was later joined by two other Alliance Fokker jets - F-70 VH-NKU and F-100 VH-XWM - which also stayed overnight at Emerald Airport.

Finally, also noted visiting Emerald Airport, also on Tuesday 2 June was Regional Express (REX) SAAB 340B VH-ZRC which completed a flight from and back to Brisbane.  VH-ZRC then flew to Richmond before being due to call back into Emerald Airport while enroute back to Brisbane.

Fellow REX SAAB 340B VH-ZLV also flew out to Richmond but via Rockhampton Airport, also on Tuesday 2 June.  It too was due to call into Emerald Airport while enroute back to Brisbane.

UPDATE!  Both VH-ZRC and VH-ZLV ended up overflying Emerald Airport and flew directly back to Brisbane from Richmond - as they do most weeks!
