After arriving the previous evening, early on Wednesday 23 June, Awesome Aviation (of Perth in Western Australia) Beech 1900D VH-JYA departed Rockhampton Airport, flying up to Far North Queensland.

It firstly flew up to Cairns before then continuing further up to Weipa, Bamaga and Horn Island. VH-JYA then returned to Cairns.
As mentioned below, VH-JYA had arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns and Horn Island late on Tuesday 22 June, having flown across the country from Perth via Alice Springs on Monday 21 June.
