New MT Air Charters / Pilatus Australia Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-JMU Calls into Mackay Airport

During the afternoon on Wednesday 23 June, new MT Air Charters / Pilatus Australia Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-JMU of was noted arriving into Mackay Airport.  It flew all the way across from Adelaide via Archerfield.

At the time of writing, it appears that VH-JMU is spending at least the night parked at Mackay Airport.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 24 June, VH-JMU departed Mackay Airport for Brunette Downs, Tennant Creek and Stokes.

UPDATE!  On Saturday 26 June, VH-JMU returned to Mackay Airport, arriving from Devoncourt and Brunette Downs Stations and later departing to the Sunshine Coast and Archerfield.

Of interest, this is the sixth aircraft to wear this registration marking with the current VH-JMU a PC-12/47E registered in April this year.  It replaced a Pilatus PC-24 jet which was re-registered as N702HT in November 2020 after spending less than a year operating in Australia.
