It's been reported that Tiger Airways has cancelled all flights to and from Rockhampton until March.
Tiger Airways says the closure of Rockhampton Airport has meant the company has had to cancel some services to and from Rockhampton, and with the uncertainty of when the airport will re-open, demand for forward bookings on our flights to and from Rockhampton has been significantly affected.
As a result, Tiger Airways has made the decision to cancel all services to and from Rockhampton until their new season schedule commences in March. Tiger Airways new season flights from Tuesday 29 March from Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine) to Rockhampton remain on sale and should not be affected by the airport closure.
Tiger Airways customers are being contacted directly and will be refunded as soon as possible.
