A couple interesting local and overseas bizjets have popped into Hamilton Island Airport over the last few days...
On Friday 16 March, Balmoral Air's Dassault Falcon 2000EX VH-WIO was noted departing for Bankstown Airport near Sydney - where this bizjet is based. Also on Friday, West Wing Aviation Cessna 182, VH-BAE, was noted flying Townsville-Hamilton Island-Townsville.
On Saturday 17 March, Bombardier Global Express, M-MNAA was noted arriving into Hamilton Island from Sydney.
On Sunday 18 March, West Wing's Cessna 182 VH-BAE again operated from and back to Townsville.
On Monday 19 March, Maxem Aviation (West Australia) Cessna 525 CitationJet 1 VH-DAA was also noted arriving into Hamilton Island. Later, Adelaide based Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 VH-TFW arrived from the Gold Coast before departing later in the day for Adelaide. Lastly, Bombardier Global Express, M-MNAA was noted departing to Cairns.
