Exercise Wallaby 2017 - Singapore Airlines B777-200 9V-SVF Back at Rockhampton Airport on Passenger Charter Flight

On Tuesday 12 September, Singapore Airlines Boeing B777-200 9V-SVF was back at Rockhampton Airport on what we are led believe is a 'one-off' passenger charter flight in support of the Singapore Armed Force's Exercise Wallaby 2017.

Like its previous two visits just over a week ago as a part of the first 'wave' of heavy jet passenger charter flights, 9V-SVF touched down at Rocky directly from Singapore's Changi Airport as SIA8931.

It taxied in and was parked on Gate 6 on the Southern end of the parking apron and was unloaded.  9V-SVF later returned to Changi but as SIA8932.

We are led to believe that this flight is a 'one-off' and the next 'wave' of heavy jet passenger charter flights in support of Exercise Wallaby 2017 will all touch down at Rockhampton Airport during the latter part of next week.

Sincere thanks to local plane spotter Daniel B for taking the time to capture and send through these great photos!
